Podiatry Rebates
Any member of the community is able to see a Podiatrist at Your Foot Headquarters with a scheduled appointment. You do not need a referral to see a Podiatrist. Please be aware payment for your appointment is required at the time of consultation. Depending on your circumstances you maybe able to receive a rebate on your consultation costs.
Medicare may provide a rebate on Podiatry Fees if you have a Chronic condition and are referred by your GP with the correct paperwork through the Allied Health Medical Referral program. Upfront payment is required at the time of your consultation, we do not Bulk Bill, all paperwork must be fully completed and presented to Your Foot Headquarters at the time of your consultation with our Podiatrists. Your Foot Headquarters will process your claim with Medicare at the time of your consultation after your upfront payment, but are not responsible for the Medicare Rebate.
Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) Gold card holders are entitled to free Podiatry services from a private Podiatrist with an accompanying referral from a GP. My Aged Care clients maybe entitled to Podiatry depending on your package level. Discuss this with your my aged care service provider.
Private Health Funds cover some Podiatry Services depending on the level of the insurance Cover and the included extras.
Our Podiatrists will provide care for NDIS clients, however these clients must be self managed or fund managed. We are unable to deal with NDIS directly.
